Eye banks recover, evaluate, store and distribute human eye tissue for vision restoration, research and in order to perform corneal transplants etc.. The Chandra Eye Bank is sponsored by Dr. Abhishek Chandra, Director, Chandra Eye Care Clinic and has an established working relationship with a medical facility.
Chandra Eye Care has been successful in starting his own Eye Bank and performing keratoplasty (Corneal Transplantation). Dr. Chandra himself motivates people to donate their eyes so that two blind people can see this beautiful world.
